Career paths in Optics and Photonics – meeting with Gabrielle M Thomas

Moving away from academia after completing your studies – this path is as interesting, as it is mysterious. That’s why we invited Gabrielle M Thomas to illuminate possibilities awaiting for us.

Gabrielle completed a successful transition from academia to industry and is now working for M Squared Lasers, as well as is the OSA Ambassador for 2019. In her talk, she will share her experience from selecting a career path and some tips and resources useful in a later job hunt.

The talk will take place in room B2.38 on FUW, starting at 17:30. After the meeting we invite you to the nearby pub for informal discussions, as usual. See you next Wednesday!
