On Wednesday, 2nd of March, we met with dr Micha\u0142 Parniak who is leading the Quantum Optical Devices Laboratory at the University of Warsaw.<\/div>\n
Micha\u0142 presented efforts from his lab at implementing quantum information processors using an ensemble of cold rubidium atoms – applied to generating entanglement, quantum spectroscopy, and communication.<\/div>\n
The meeting was held in a hybrid form, and most of the participants decided to join us in person. We continued the discussion after the lecture and took part in a networking session. We hope that we’ll be able to fully come back to on-site meetings this year.<\/div>\n
