To celebrate the launch of the James Webb Space Telescope we organized a board game and pizza party. We chose the date of the JWST reaching the L2 orbit on the 26.01.2022.<\/p>\n

Due to COVID situation the event was held both in person and online. The main point of the event was a quiz about the JWST. We had about 20 participants during the event in the quiz, but after we made the question public here: https:\/\/forms.gle\/TXD9v5k7x55kX5r19<\/a><\/p>\n

6 best results of the quiz were rewarded with prizes – board games and Lego sets, all space-themed.<\/p>\n

After the quiz, we continued the meeting over pizza discussing the hardest questions and the great achievement the JWST is. We finished the night with discussion and playing board games.<\/p>\n

There were around 20 people at the pizza place and 11 on Zoom.<\/p>\n

We were all very happy with the event and the possibility of meeting in-person to celebrate a great scientific achievement!<\/p>\n
